The Air Force has initiated a new program to help airmen and their families deal with stress. Capitalizing on the time-honored tradition of Airmen taking care of Airmen, under this program airmen are encouraged to act as a wingmen and look out for each other's well being. In the words of CMSAF Gerald Murray "Today's operations tempo at home, and while deployed can cause a great deal of stress, anxiety, and even grief for our Airmen and their families. As any battle commander knows, you have to recognize when you need reinforcements. These reinforcements can come in the form of reaching out to a friend, supervisor, commander, or a trained professional such as the chaplain, family advocate, or life skills provider, That's what Airmen do for each other." This web page has been created to provide information and resources to assist in the implementation of this program.
