Department Of Defense Deployment Health Clinical Center

Specialized Care Programs (SCP)

DHCC has two programs for service members and veterans, the Specialized Care Programs, Track I and Track II.

The Track I Program is a recommended level of care outlined in the DoD/VA Post-Deployment Health Clinical Practice Guideline's algorithm. The SCP is for patients who have been through the PDH-CPG cycle of care and continue to present with chronic illnesses such as medically unexplained physical symptoms.

The Track II Program is for service members experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or difficulties re-adjusting to life upon redeployment after service in OEF/OIF. The SCP is for patients who have had other treatments for PTSD (or perhaps depression) but continue to experience symptoms that interfere with functioning. It is also for patients who have no other treatment available to them.

For SCP Referral Procedures please click here. Coordination for local accommodations will be made by the Deployment Health Clinical Center..
